McCain: Syria Is ‘Shameful’ Chapter In American History

Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) on Sunday condemned the decision by President Obama not to intervene more directly in Syria’s civil war.

“I think they’re writing one of the most shameful chapters in American history,” McCain said on “Fox News Sunday.” “Sixty thousand people have been massacred.”

McCain said that Obama’s decision not to intervene shows “a lack of experience and knowledge that is very dangerous to America’s national security interests.”
