Secretary of State John Kerry was on Capitol Hill Thursday urging lawmakers to approve an economic aid package to Ukraine, where he himself received an offer of assistance from Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC).

After Kerry testified before the Senate Appropriations Committee, Graham, an outspoken critic of President Obama’s foreign policy, walked over to his former Senate colleague and offered to help on the measure with Republicans in the House.

“Hey John, good job. Let me know what I can do to help you with [House Speaker John] Boehner,” Graham said.
