Wilmore Chronicles Obama’s Seven-Year Affair With Keystone Pipeline (VIDEO)

It’s been a long seven years for America, but President Barack Obama finally made a decision on the Keystone Pipeline Project.

He rejected the plan, saying the project was used as political fodder for both parties instead of being considered a potentially useful part of the U.S. energy policy.

But Obama has always known the project would be political, host Larry Wilmore said on Monday’s episode of “The Nightly Show.”

“Don’t get me wrong, Obama cares about the environment,” Wilmore said. “You know the one with the trees and the fish and white people trying to find themselves. He cares about this, but he knew this was a political move from the get-go.”

“Come on, that’s a lot of spills. The Wikipedia page that lists pipeline accidents in just the 21st Century is longer than the Wikipedia page for the Civil War. I know it’s Wikipedia,” Wilmore said. “It’s still a lot.”

Oil companies promising robust safety measures is as believable as China promising it won’t manufacture any more toxic dog treats.

  2. There was actually a big, ass spill, in PA, but luckily it was wesson oil and that’s a bit more biodegradable.
