Following a bombing at a Doctors Without Borders in Kunduz, Afghanistan, President Barack Obama personally apologized to the international charity.

But on Thursday’s “Nightly Show,” host Larry Wilmore said more than just Obama should be apologizing for the last 14 years.

“The old ‘bomb first, ask questions later’ international policy is how we got into this mess in the first place. The bottom line is the Afghan people deserve to get the medical care they so desperately need,” Wilmore said. “Afghans deserve to go to a hospital and get the same basic results as Americans: to go in for a minor procedure and then die of a staph infection a week later.”

The military should at least be doing a “Google Earth pass,” Wilmore said.

“As long as the United States is apologizing, President Obama, could you grab Bush and everybody who has been in government for the past 14 years for to apologize to every fucking person in the world for being over their in the first place?”
