Larry Wilmore recapped the “kind of boring” Democratic debate on Monday’s episode of “The Nightly Show,” saying it wasn’t anything too groundbreaking.
“The debate was kind of boring, you guys,” Wilmore said. “Blah blah blah healthcare, blah blah blah economy. Blah blah blah, blah blah blah.”
The latest Democratic debate earned the lowest ratings of the debates thus fair, according to Wilmore.
“To be fair, it was a Saturday night. Most of the Democratic base was probably out spending their welfare checks on abortion, amirite?!” Wilmore joked. “It’s about time somebody just said it.”

I found the debate interesting and informative. Compared to the Repub debate it was an oasis of sanity.

I usually like Wilmore, and he’s right about the (most likely intentionally) odd schedule of the last debate. However, describing it as “Blah blah blah” is neither funny nor helpful. If the debate was boring, what sort of debate exactly would he find not boring, I wonder?
The scheduling of this, and the remaining debates is just absurd. Saturday?? Football games, going out, dates and dammit, it ran into Creature of the Black Lagoon!! The next one is scheduled for the weekend right before Christmas, the one after that during the NFL playoffs…its just nuts.
