“The Nightly Show” stood with Ahmed Mohamed on Wednesday night — the 14-year-old Muslim student who was arrested after he brought a homemade clock to school.
But host Larry Wilmore managed to find five reasons Ahmed’s arrest might not have been based in Islamophobia.
The first reason?
“The teachers thought that his clock was a time machine, and he was trying to go back in tie and protect baby Hitler.”
Or maybe his teacher misheard a friend of Ahmed’s using 90s slang?
