The Senate Judiciary Committee is entering a closed session with Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh Thursday night, having wrapped up two grueling days of public questioning of the judge.
Both Wednesday’s and Thursday’s open sessions went past 10 p.m. ET, more than 12 hours after the hearings started each day.
On Friday, several other witnesses to testify about Kavanaugh’s nomination will appear in front of the committee.
