Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) said on Friday that he hopes the White House will be going to a “pro-life” President who will have the “moral obligation to defend the right to life.”
He was the first lawmaker to speak at the 2015 Values Voter Summit.
“We have a moral obligation to say so and defend the right to life of the most innocent,” McCain said.
He spoke about abortion policy in America as well as refugees around the world.
“Hopefully, we’ll have a pro-life White House to work with soon,” McCain said.
The Debunkifier is pro-life and pro-choice. I never met anyone that wasn’t pro-life
Only if we elect a Democrat. After all, Republicans seem to be about as pro-Death as they come.
Yes, it would be great if we had a President who would mandate effective birth control be available to all women for free so they could control their own reproductive health and drastically cut down the percentage of unwanted pregnancies that lead to abortions.
Oh wait, that’s right, WE ALREADY DO.
Maybe you should rephrase that into what you and the rest of your neanderthal party really mean to say - “Hopefully we’ll have a pro-woman shaming White House soon, because only men should be able to walk away scott free after recreational sex.”
yep… your definition of ‘pro-life’ differs from my definition…
right to life doesn’t end once the baby is out and breathing on its own nor does it include my telling a woman she HAS to give birth even at the expense of HER life…
nor does it include sending in the troops to sacrifice THEIR lives every time another country looks cross-eyed at us or says something in the schoolyard that ‘hurts my feelings’
