“Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough on Thursday decried President Barack Obama’s approach to fighting the Islamic State, suggesting it was part of a tradition of “half-assed” foreign policy.
On Wednesday, Obama requested congressional approval for the “limited use” of military force against ISIL.
“The mistake that Americans have made time and time and time again is they have gone into war half-assed,” Scarborough said. “We’ll do a little bit here, we’ll do a little bit there, we’ll see what happens.”
“If you are going to war, go to war to win war. If you’re not going to go to war to win war, then keep our men and women home,” the MSNBC host said.

Sure Joe…just like Bush did…twice. Those were nice, quick, painless, all-in wars. Didn’t cost but what $5T or so right? Now THAT’s the way to go to war! dumbfuck.
The mistake Joe makes is thinking that a majority in the US would support total war in the ME. If Jeb is their nominee,GOPs like Joe are putting him in an impossible position.
Barack Obama could have done nothing but stay in the bathroom and read “X-Men” comics since his inauguration and he would STILL have a more sensible foreign policy than the Cheney/Bush administration.
Joe…if you’re willing to sign up and be on the front lines when we invade, then by all means criticize. Other wise- shut up.
I really wish Obama would hold a press conference and say he has a warplane all fueled up and ready on the tarmac, and all he’s waiting for is McCain, Graham, Scarborough, Cruz, and the rest of these government and media chickenhawks to get on board so they can be flown to the Middle East and fight and win for their country. And he’ll even pay the taxi fare to the airport!
