Vice President Joe Biden told Bloomberg News in an interview posted Wednesday that he made the “right decision” not to run for President in the 2016 election.
After much speculation, Biden announced in October that he would not run for the presidency for a third time.
“My decision, I know, was the right decision,” Biden reportedly told Bloomberg. “I believed I could win, but that’s not enough.”
Biden had said that he didn’t think there was enough time to launch a successful presidential bid.

For someone who has been part of the present administration, right there with President Obama the whole time, I can’t say I blame him for feeling this way.
Though I would have loved for him to make a run, I am also glad that he did not. I hope he enjoys his time with his family. He has earned it.
