New York Times assistant managing editor Jim Roberts announced on Thursday that he will leave the paper after 26 years on staff.
The news of Roberts’ departure comes on the day of the buyout deadline at the Times. The paper is seeking to eliminate 30 newsroom management positions. Roberts announced his move on Twitter:
