Republican presidential candidate and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush said in an interview aired Sunday that he knows he has to perform better at the debates.
Bush, speaking to NBC “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd, said that he knows he has to improve.
“Look, I know that I got to get better at doing the debate. I’m a grinder,” Bush said. “I mean, when I see that I’m not doing something well then I reset and I get better.”
“Because I can complete a sentence in the English language pretty well, and I have ideas that will lift people up,” he continued. “My focus in the debate, I will change the whole conversation.”
Wow! Being able to speak his native language qualifies him to be president? That’s a pretty low bar he’s set for himself.

That is the highest possible praise in the Bush family.

If she said I :know I got" instead of" I know I have to" isn’t a good indication of a person who can string a sentence together properly - at least not in terms of grammar.
Very deep stuff coming from a guy who has been told most of his adult life that he was going to be President.
