Iraq War veteran Jeanine McDonnell, daughter of Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell, accused President Obama of “playing chicken with our defense” in her remarks at the Republican National Convention Wednesday night.
“[W]e need leaders who don’t play chicken with our nation’s defense. We need leaders who will invest in defense — not abandon it,” McDonnell said. “And that’s why we need Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan.”
McDonnell was one of two veterans who introduced Arizona Sen. John McCain.
