A new poll of the South Carolina Republican presidential race shows former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney with an eleven point lead in South Carolina. The snap poll from InsiderAdvantage interviewed likely voters on Sunday night, showing a bigger gap in the race ahead of Saturday’s primary vote. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich had begun to make a run at Romney last, but more recent polling has shown Romney pulling away. Gingrich gets 21 percent in the new InsiderAdvantage poll, Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) sees 14, former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum is at 13, and Texas Gov. Rick Perry is last with five.

The current TPM Poll Average of the race shows more than an ten point advantage for Romney in South Carolina.
