Former Ambassador and Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman defended himself against a Fox interviewer’s questions about his electability in the Republican primary on Wednesday. When asked why former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney rates better among GOPers interesting President Obama in 2012, Huntsman said the oppositve is actually true. “The rap on me is that I can go to win the general election,” he said.

When the anchor asked why he didn’t compete in Iowa if he thinks he’s the better nominee, he said candidates have to “prove the point of electability,” in the primary format, saying New Hampshire voters want candidates to earn their vote.
