Hillary Clinton is considering academic offers from a number of colleges and universities, according to a report published Wednesday in Politico.
The report indicated that the former secretary of state has drawn interest from Harvard Kennedy School, Yale, New York University and Baruch College. According to Politico, the offers have included “starting a program in Clinton’s name to rebranding the Baruch College public policy school” after the 2016 contender.
Clinton spokesman Nick Merrill said that a “number of academic institutions have reached out with ideas” and that they are responding to each. Spokespeople for Harvard, NYU and Baruch all confirmed that they have had conversations with Clinton.
In what many interpreted as another signal of her intentions to run for president in 2016, Clinton delivered the first in a series of planned policy speechs Monday in San Francisco, passionately appealing for voting rights.
