Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) threw a rhetorical elbow at Donald Trump Wednesday during his address to the Democratic National Convention, reminding voters that the Democrats weren’t inviting cyber attacks on the nation.

“Democrats know we win with an economy that works for everybody, with a strong and smart national security that aligns with our allies and does not invite a cyber attack on our country,” he said.

The Senate minority leader’s comments come after Trump told The New York Times that he wouldn’t necessarily help NATO allies if they were attacked by Russia. The GOP nominee also said earlier Wednesday in a press conference that Russia should release Hillary Clinton’s “missing” emails if it has them, later clarifying that Russia should release those emails straight to the FBI.
