Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) gave newly elected Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) a plaque with a livestock castration device on her first day in office.

The gift references Ernst’s notorious ad in which she declares that her “castrating hogs on an Iowa farm” will help her “cut pork” on Capitol Hill.

Graham told ABC News that Ernst’s campaign ad “stuck with me,” prompting him to give Ernst the sign that reads, “Make ’em squeal, Joni.”

“That commercial was probably the most effective commercial in the last 20 years and this phrase I think is what that election is all about,” he said.
