Google on Tuesday afternoon announced that it had drastically expanded its Tour Guide feature in Google Earth, adding 100,000 new digital tours of popular locations around the globe (in 200 different countries) and 1 million new photos uploaded by users of Google’s Panoramio photo-sharing subsidiary, which are displayed in the 3D views of Google Earth. Tour Guide is available in the Google Earth desktop web view and in the Google Earth apps for Android and iPhone. Check out a screenshot of the new Panoramio photos below:
