Conservative radio host Glenn Beck on Saturday suggested that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) is suffering from a particular ailment.

“I told you at the very beginning what this administration tries to do to you, and what the progressives on the right — let me tell you something, Mitch McConnell is as a big of a danger to this country as Barack Obama is,” Beck said at FreePAC Kentucky, according to Louisville NPR affiliate WFPL. “The progressive disease is in both parties. Big government is a philosophy in both parties.”

Beck added that voters will put McConnell “out of business very soon.”

He also praised McConnell’s Tea Party challenger, Matt Bevin.

“I will tell you I met the guys you had speaking. Some of them I’ve met several times,” Beck said said. “Matt Bevin, I have not met. I’ve talked to him several times and I had a good feeling. But I am telling you, I believe that man was called of God.”

Bevin and conservative Senate candidate Chris McDaniel also spoke at the rally of over 3,500 people, which was organized by FredomWorks.
