Newt Gingrich’s campaign is rolling out a mailer in South Carolina that assails Mitt Romney’s record on abortion.
The two-sided mail piece, which decries the GOP frontrunner for promoting “pro-abortion” policies as governor of Massachusetts, contends that Romney “appointed a pro-abortion judge to the bench” and included “taxpayer funded abortions” in his much-maligned healthcare bill.
The “pro-abortion” line of attack is a continuation of a television ad the Gingrich campaign aired in South Carolina earlier this month that advanced the same arguments against Romney.
