Gingrich And Romney Super PACs Spend Big In South Carolina

The New York Times reports that the similarly named Super PACs supporting Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney have made significant ad buys in South Carolina. Winning Our Future, the pro-Gingrich Super PAC, announced today that it intends to commit $3.4 million to radio and television ads in advance of the first southern primary. That announcement preceded the news that Restore Our Future, the Super PAC backing Romney, will spend $2.3 million in the Palmetto State.
