The new Gallup tracking poll of the Republican Presidential race shows a development that looked to be in the works for a week or so — former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney has retaken the national lead from former House Speaker Newt Gingrich. Romney gets 27 percent in the Gallup tracking to Gingrich’s 23, with Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) the only other candidate in double digits with 11.
