Fox News Analyst: Justice Roberts Sounds Like ‘Two Different People’ (VIDEO)

Fox News judicial analyst Andrew Napolitano diagnosed Chief Justice John Roberts with a kind of legal dual-personality on Friday.

Napolitano thwacked Roberts minutes after the Supreme Court handed down its decision legalizing same-sex marriage, saying that his opinion sounded wildly different than his approving stance on Obamacare on Thursday.

“I’m not gonna question the chief justice’s motivation — but it does sound like two different people,” Napolitano said.

He contrasted Roberts’ opinion on Friday, which leaned heavily on the concept of states rights, with his decision on Thursday to uphold Obamacare’s tax subsidies from the federal government.

“Why he did what he did yesterday is between him and his heart. We will never know,” he added, calling Roberts’ opinion on the Obamacare subsidies “reprehensible.”

  1. Maybe the resident shrink at fox, Ablow, will opine for us ?

  2. Napolitano can feel his gig, putting legalistic bullshit on the pig that is Fox News bigotry, is evaporating beneath him. Look for him to even more aggressively seek the “it’s actually all just performance art wink wink” gigs on things like Nightly Show. Rats off ship.

  3. ACA wasn’t about “states rights” so I’m not sure if Roberts is two different people.

  4. To paraphrase, the Law works in mysterious ways.

  5. FOX Movie of the Week, ‘The 2 Faces of John’.
