The gravestone marking the burial location of Ed Koch indicates that the outspoken former New York City mayor was born nearly 20 years later than he actually did, NBC 4 New York reported Tuesday.
Koch, who died at the age of 88 in February, was born in 1924 but his tombstone at Trinity Church in New York shows his birth year as 1942.
The company that engraved the tombstone has vowed to correct the error.
