Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) called on his fellow Republican lawmakers to stand against Donald Trump’s call to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate Hillary Clinton if he were elected.

Trump made the comment Sunday durning the presidential debate where he also alluded to how Clinton would be in jail if he were president.

“Republicans should not be Ok with Donald Trump threatening to jail his opponent after the election,” Flake said. “That is not who we are.”

Flake has been an outspoken critic of Trump all election cycle. Flake, who is not up for re-election in November, has called out the Republican nominee for his comments against Muslims, Hispanics and women. Flake called on Trump to step aside over the weekend.
