First Lady’s Inauguration Outfit Will Go To National Archives

First Lady Michelle Obama’s Inauguration Day outfit — a navy Thom Browne coat and dress — will go to the National Archives after the day’s festivities, according to a White House official. The fabric of the coat was based on the style of a men’s silk tie. The first lady’s belt and gloves are from J. Crew. Cathy Waterman designed her earrings. She is also wearing Reed Krakoff boots.
