Conceding that he doesn’t know the precise time, FBI Special Agent Richard DesLauriers said Thursday that the individual referred to as “suspect two” planted the explosive device “shortly before the bomb blast went off” near the finish line of the Boston Marathon.
DesLauriers said that only “suspect two” was shown in the video footage planting a device. The other individual pinpointed by investigators was referred to as “suspect one,” who was wearing a dark baseball cap. “Suspect two” was wearing a white baseball cap.
