Former New York Police Department Commissioner Bernard Kerik was released from federal prison on Tuesday, after serving three years of a four-year sentence.
According to The New York Post, Kerik left a federal facility in Maryland on Tuesday morning and headed to his home in Bergen County, N.J., where he will remain under home confinement until October.
Kerik, his wife, two daughters, and more than a dozen friends will celebrate the former official’s return home with a catered dinner Tuesday night.
