Tom Brady was top of mind – or at least top of notes – for Donald Trump heading into a recent campaign event, where the Republican got into hot water for not correcting a supporter who said Obama is Muslim.
In an Associated Press photo from a town hall event Thursday in Rochester, N.H., the New England Patriots quarterback’s name is clearly visible in block lettering as Trump slips his notes into his jacket pocket.

A close-up of the AP photo in question.
The notes were presumably for the same town hall event where Trump did not correct a supporter who accused Obama of being Muslim and said Muslims are “a problem in this country.”
Brady recently won his #Deflategate case in court, and a federal judge nullified his four-game suspension from the NFL.
Yeah, it’s true, they have a mutual admiration thing going on. As a Patriots fan, I just have to compartmentalize–I will take Brady’s football talents, and leave his political opinions.
Not Huge, “YUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE”
In case someone asked him about being endorsed by a football player and he forgot who it was.
As a lifelong Patriots fan, I am yooogely troubled by this, and wish Brady had kept his politics to himself. I doubt I will be able to compartmentalize this, though I applaud your effort to do so. I still have trouble enjoying any memories of Curt Schilling’s courageous pitching in the 2004 ALCS – he should have kept his mouth shut as well. And yet he never endorsed any blowhard as blatanty hideous as Trump.
The notes go on to say the Roswell debris was clearly of alien origin…
