Digg Launches Updated iPhone/iPad App Featuring ‘Reading Sync’

Digg, the social news website that rose from the near-dead earlier this year, has launched a new universal iOS app (automatically resizes for iPad and iPhone) that features a feature called “Reading Sync,” which allows users to switch between iDevices and pick up on the exact story and spot on the page they left off. Numerous websites have reported spikes in Digg referral traffic following the website’s controversial redesign in early August, following a firesale acquisition by New York based startup laboratory Betaworks and its News.me team.
