CLEVELAND – Ex-Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski promised that viewers of his week’s GOP convention were going to see the softer side of his former boss.

“I think they’re going to see Mrs. Trump talk about her relationship with her husband and what kind of father he is and that’s a different message than most people see from Donald Trump,” Lewandowski, a New Hampshire delegate, told TPM on the floor of the Quicken Loans Center.

He brushed off the attempts earlier today by Trump foes to force a roll call vote on the convention’s rules in order to embarrass the presumptive GOP nominee.

“It was a lot about nothing,” Lewandowski said.
