A man was chased into an Myrtle Beach, South Carolina haunted house on Saturday night after he punched a man who stole the Confederate flag off his truck, according to a local TV station.
A man ripped a Confederate flag off of a truck sitting in traffic around 10 p.m., WHNS reported Saturday.
The driver got out of the truck and punched the man in front of a shop on Ocean Boulevard, the television station reported.
“Unfortunately for him, somebody stood their ground and stood for what they believed in and it turned out bad for him,” the store’s manager told WHNS.
The man’s friends chased the driver across the street into a haunted house. The house’s actors tried to break up the fight and the men ended up fighting the actors instead, the station reported.
There were no arrests reported, but police confirmed they responded to 911 calls at the address.

Grammar mistake in the first sentence. That’s a new record.
Reports are the panhandler on the corner started playing Yackity Sax when the fight/chase scene broke out…
Less than 10 words in at that.
Excuse me, but why wasn’t the flag thief shot? Why didn’t this story escalate to gun violence? An exchange of bullets with at least two bystanders killed–one of whom was an honors student heading to Yale–WTF went wrong? Who are these dilettantes?
