As one would expect, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice lavished Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh with praise as she introduced him for his confirmation hearings.
“Brett is really, really smart,” Rice said, referring to their time working together in the George W. Bush administration.
She called him as “hardworking” and “wise,” and said he was an “old soul” with a “sense of humor.”
She’d have scored bonus points if she said he was “articulate and clean.”
