Code Pink Interrupts Senate Syria Hearing

As they are known to do, an apparent member of Code Pink — the anti-war grassroots organization — started shouting before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing on military intervention in Syria began Tuesday afternoon.

“We can’t afford to have another war! We need health care and education in our country!” the protestor said. “No more war in Syria!”

The protestor was promptly escorted out of the committee hearing room.
