Hillary Clinton’s foreign policy spokesman called Donald Trump out in rather explicit terms on Sunday night after the Republican nominee said during the second presidential debate that a Muslim soldier killed in the Iraq War would still be alive if he was commander in chief.
“Go fuck yourself,” Jesse Lehrich wrote on Twitter regarding Trump’s comments on Humayan Khan, whose parents appeared at the Democratic National Convention this summer in support of Clinton.

Lehrich followed up soon after with an apology for the “inappropriate nature and language” of his tweet.
