Fox News and CNN projected Hillary Clinton the winner of the reliably blue states of New Jersey, Massachusetts, Delaware and Illinois on Tuesday night. CNN and NBC projected that the Democratic nominee would also win in Maryland and Rhode Island, as well as Washington, D.C.
