Peppered with a series of questions at NBC News’ Commander-In-Chief Forum about her use of a private email server while secretary of state, Hillary Clinton reiterated that it was a “mistake to have a personal account,” while arguing nonetheless she took the handling of classified materials “very seriously.”
“I have a lot of experience dealing with classified material,” Clinton said, referring to her time on the Senate Armed Services Committee and her tenure at the State Department.
“Classified material has a header, which says top secret, secret, confidential. Nothing — and I will repeat this, and this is verified in the report by the Department of Justice — none of the emails sent or received by me had such a header,” Clinton said.
She also defended the discussion of the U.S. drone program over her private email server, which was surfaced in a summary of the FBI investigation into her email practices that was released last week.
“There were no discussions of any of the covert actions in process, being determined, about whether or not to go forward,” Clinton said, adding that the communications were focused on dealing “with questions” the State Department faced from the public.
She went on to detail the security steps she took when communicating classified information.
“I communicated about classified material on a wholly separate system. I took it very seriously,” she said.
Question asked, question answered and yet, there will be clouds and shadows.
Or so the media whores will insist.
Trump: “We should have taken the oil in Iraq.”
Matt Lauer: “Next question!”
Question asked and answered and asked and answered ad infinitum. Meanwhile trumpf is tap dancing while glib and remarks are best summarized as “Barack Obama. It’s a disaster.”
And we should take the oil with good Generals. Not Obama’s stupid generals…
And it should be only the good oil.
