Chelsea Clinton said Tuesday that, if given the opportunity, she’d ask Ivanka Trump how exactly her father would pay for a minimum wage increase.
Clinton was asked during a Facebook live stream for Glamour magazine what she would ask Trump after her speech at the Republican National Convention that painted her father as someone who would fight for women’s rights.
“How would your father do that? Given it’s not something he’s spoken about. There are no policies on any of those fronts that you just mentioned on his website,” Clinton said. “Not last week, not this week.”
Clinton and Trump have been longstanding friends and have said before that they wouldn’t let the election get in their way of their relationship.
“So, I think the how question is super important in politics as it is in life,” Clinton said, before vouching for her mother’s policies.

More details please…How is this not damaging to both sides?
Let’s have a Daughters Debate. Could be more informative and more civil than watching the candidates debate.
I’m sure you both have a cell phones, don’t you? Why don’t you text her and let us all know? /s
Huh? Maybe this remark was misunderstood / mis-paraphrased, because otherwise it doesn’t make much sense. Unless you’re talking about federal workers, the government doesn’t “pay for” minimum wage increases.
Yea, it’s a stumper. Let us know if you make any progress.
