While on MSNBC’s “Hardball” with Chris Matthews on Monday, Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) made an enthusiastic prediction about Mitt Romney’s future.

“I think he actually is going to run for president. He probably doesn’t want me to say that. A hundred times he says he’s not,” Chaffetz said when asked how he would advise the former Republican nominee if Romney wanted to run for President again.

“Mitt Romney has always accomplished what he set out to do. I think he is proven right on a lot of stuff. I happen to be in the camp that thinks he is actually going to run and I think he will be the next President of the United States,” Chaffetz said.

Chaffetz isn’t the only one optimistic about a Romney 2016 run. An anonymous website, DraftMitt.org, has now collected over 50,000 signatures of people who want Romney to run for President in two years.

Despite support, Romney has said he has no plans to compete for the White House.
