White House press secretary Jay Carney has been receiving a grilling lately, but the spokesman and former journalist said Wednesday that he believes it is “entirely appropriate for reporters” at his daily briefings to “ask more questions.”
“I enjoy coming out here when it is challenging because I believe it is a portion of our democracy at work,” Carney said.
