Herman Cain admitted in an interview yesterday on Fox News that he was reassessing whether to stay in the race after allegations of a 13-year affair. He told Fox that that he will reconsider “starting with my family. My wife especially. And then looking at the support coming in from supporters and donors.”
However, as the LA Times reports, Cain still hasn’t discussed the reassessment with his wife. After the Fox Interview on Wednesday evening, he flew to New Hampshire. News of his affair broke on Monday, but, he won’t reassess with his wife until tomorrow. I will “walk through this” with Gloria, Cain said, “I will do that when I get back home on Friday.”
