A restaurant in Hawaii has reportedly banned people who voted for Donald Trump, and that’s gone down just about as well as you’d expect.

Café 8 ½, an Italian restaurant in Honolulu, posted a sign this week on its front door reading “If you voted for Trump you cannot eat here! No Nazis,” Eater reported.

Soon after the sign was posted, Trump supporters nationwide bit back at the restaurant. They awarded it one-star reviews on Yelp, Facebook and TripAdvisor and bashed it on Twitter and even Google images, Eater reported.

There have been some positive reviews from those who support the business’s right to take a stance, however. Jali Warner, the wife of the restaurant’s owner Robert Warner, told Fox News that is exactly why the note was posted.

“Robert just wants to express how much he doesn’t like Trump,” she told Fox News. “If people take it personally or it hurts them, we cannot help. That’s why we say they have [a] choice if they want to come or not come. We don’t force them.”
