C-Span’s founder, Brian Lamb, is stepping down as CEO of the cable network effective April 1, the New York Times reports. After stepping down as CEO in April, Lamb will become the executive chairman. He will still host the Sunday night interview show, “Q&A,” and will teach, the Times reports. The announcement is expected to come today. Lamb created the network — loved by political junkies — in the late 1970s.
