Mike Arnold (picture above), the lawyer representing Ammon Bundy in the Oregon occupation case, has set up a legal defense fund for Bundy, who was arrested with other hard-right activists in Oregon earlier this week, The Oregonian reported.

The Funded Justice page for the pledge drive explains:

Money donated will be placed into an attorney trust account for Ammon Bundy’s representation. It his Ammon’s hope that his attorneys can do the work that is important to the cause on his behalf. A rising tide lifts all ships.

It also says that the attorneys are only representing Bundy, so “feel free not to contribute to Ammon and instead contribute to another defendant.”

The goal for the fund is $100,000 in 30 days, but as of press time, only $1,125 had been pledged.
