Boston Mayor Thomas Menino wrote a letter to the publisher of Rolling Stone magazine Wednesday, criticizing the organization for featuring a picture of alleged Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev on its latest cover in a way he claims gives him “celebrity treatment.”
“The survivors of the Boston attacks deserve Rolling Stone cover stories,” Menino wrote in a letter to publisher Jann Wenner, according to the Boston Herald, ”though I no longer feel that Rolling Stone deserves them.”
