The Fox News host on Thursday night threw his support behind the Senate immigration reform bill, which would provide a path to citizenship for millions of the nations undocumented immigrants.
O’Reilly made the announcement on his television show a few hours after Republican Sens. John Hoeven (R-ND) and Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN) unveiled an amendment that would boost border security with thousands of new guards.
“It is time for the USA to pass immigration reform,” he said. “For years I’ve called for a more secure southern border, you know that, and now it looks like the secure border is in reach. At least somewhat. And I hope this bill does become law.”
