Bernie Sanders Avoids Responding To Trump’s ‘Absurd’ Comment

AP

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) joked Sunday when he was asked to respond to Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s comments.

Trump had called Sanders a “maniac” and a “socialist slash communist.”

ABC “This Week” host George Stephanopoulos asked Sanders for his response.

“Well, if I had to respond to every absurd thing that Donald Trump said, I would spend my whole life doing it,” Sanders said, before transitioning to The Donald’s tax plan and his own ideas for reforming the nation’s taxes.
