Bernanke On Occupy Wall Street: ‘I Can’t Blame Them’

Fed Chair Ben Bernanke, testifying before the Congressional Joint Economic Committee yesterday, was asked about the ongoing Occupy Wall Street protests that are appearing to escalate on a national scale this week. Bernanke said he “can’t blame” protesters for taking to the streets, considering the financial sector was a large reason the economy has tanked in the first place.
