Former first lady Barbara Bush said on Monday that she can’t remember being more disappointed in a GOP presidential campaign, via CNN:
“It’s been, I think, the worst campaign I’ve ever seen in my life. I hate it,” Bush said. “I hate the fact that people think ‘compromise’ is a dirty word.”
Speaking at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, she continued: “I think the rest of the world is looking at us these days and saying, ‘What are you doing?'”
